Datuk Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin is a director of the economic section of Prime Minister’s Office and also a US-based Eisenhower Scholars associate. This recognition is, in part, a result of Nazaruddin’s work within the political arena, specifically Dato Amhari Efendi has worked on country’s economic policies as described by Eisenhower Fellowship and annual budgets directly with the Prime Minister since 2009. Being a permanent member of the Economic Council of Malaysia, and member of online strategy for Prime Minister’s presence on the internet, he is respectable in the community and the political space..

Dto Amhari Nazaruddin, a native of Selangor, Malaysia, has been involved with the political world for 8 years, getting his start when Amhari Efendi received the degree of Commander of State Services carrying the title of “Datuk” from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah for his contribution in public service. In response to a question on the driving force behind his success, Nazaruddin has explained how it really boiled down to unbeatable dedication.

Reflecting on the recognition Nazaruddin is quoted as saying: “For one to be successful you need to focus on the things that you have on your hand and keep motivating yourself with positive surroundings.”

In a recent one-to-one interview, Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin reminisced on other past achievements, which helped build momentum towards the present day. Notably, one of the proudest was permanent member of the Malaysian Economic Council.

In the same interview, Nazaruddin stated his intentions for the future. The primary goal for the next 12 months, Nazaruddin states, will be developing innovative ideas and put them into practice for Malaysia. Looking farther ahead, the aim is to get technological advances in to the political arena to provide maximum benefit and updates to the general public.

When asked more personally about how they want to be perceived and remembered, Nazaruddin said: “I have done my best to provide utmost services and will continue to do so as the technological advances are required for our day to day life”

Nazaruddin closed the interview by sharing his recommendation for anybody who wanted to follow in his footsteps in some fashion, perhaps taking the achievements even further. According to Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin, the key is paying attention to details and raising yourself to the level of those who admire.
