The FloridaVoterGuide.com is a non-partisan tool created in 2010 by concerned citizens and several grassroots organizations to help educate and empower voters who care about their government and want to vote for the right people.
The movement launched the 2018 version of its popular website to offer residents of Florida all the unbiased candidate information and simple voter registration guidelines they need to understand, take part and make the most educated choices in the various races to be contested throughout the year.
The website features a comprehensive calendar of election dates including all the currently scheduled special elections and upcoming constitutional ballot amendments along with simple step-by-step explanations on how to easily register to vote, lookup a voter registration, send an absentee ballot or vote early.
To make sure every resident of Florida can quickly check, ponder and compare the different options available in every 2018 election, the website also offers simple, unbiased candidate cards on all the US Senator, Congress rep, Governor, Attorney General, State Attorney, State Senator, State Representative, Chief Financial Officer or Circuit Judge hopefuls.
The profiles include the party affiliation, website, campaign records, petition signatures and positions each candidate has taken on issues like taxes, healthcare, gun control, environment, illegal aliens, corporation bailouts, government spy programs, private property rights or free market promotion.
The FloridaVoterGuide.com team explains that “in today’s world, most people don’t have time to compare websites, voting records, do background research, etc. Our solution is to provide simple candidate cards and election information, because we believe that most Americans do care about their government and want to vote for the right person.”
